Core Strengthening

Met with the trainer for an hour today and then got on the elliptical for another 30 minutes afterward. We focused on the core to strengthen the back and abdominals as per the doctor's instructions. Considering going every day. It always kicks my ass but I feel accomplished afterwards.

Gym Bunny

Got my ample behind to the gym today for the first time in ages. They have a physical therapist on-site and trainers who are going to work with me to strengthen my core since I just had spinal surgery about six weeks ago. Excited and nervous and jelly-legged.

Anxiety and Eating Disorders

So if I were to have a white t-shirt from the Glee "Born This Way" episode, it would probably look like this:

Anxiety has plagued me from a very young age. So young, in fact, that I can't even remember the first time I felt its icy-cold fingers wrap around my heart and prevent me from doing something I wanted to do. Its also given me quite the binge eating disorder that I struggle with on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis.
